Prince Badr bin Abdullah Al Saud is a member of the Saudi royal family and the governor of Medina province. He was born in 1973 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is the son of the late King Abdullah.
Prince Badr studied at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom and later served in the Saudi Arabian National Guard. He has held various positions in the Saudi government, including Deputy Governor of Medina, Director General of the Anti-Corruption Authority, and Head of the Commission for the Development of Riyadh.
In addition to his government roles, Prince Badr is also involved in philanthropic activities. He founded the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works and serves as its chairman.
Prince Badr is considered to be a rising star in Saudi politics and is seen as a close ally of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
